And the Winner of the 2008 ECHO Chain Saw Art Championship Is…

Date October 8, 2008

When we saw them yesterday evening, the sculptures and creations were blocked out and impressive in their design.

But when we saw them today, finished, they were gorgeous. Each one different, and lovely. I didn’t envy the judges who had to select the winner. All were winners, both for the dedication to their art and their grace in winning, or not winning.

4th Place: Hiromu Kurita - Future in the Sky
3rd Place: Dayton Scoggins - Soaring Dreams
2nd Place: Terry Ahola - Make a Wish
1st Place and Championship Winner (for the third year in a row): Bob King - Innocent Dreams

The carvings were auctioned off to raise money for the Make A Wish Foundation.
